Looks like a scene from a documentary, which features an area across the other side of the world. Unreal shot as well as being peaceful. Love the reflection of the mountains on the water as well as the bright and colourful clouds

Great shot.
Those clouds are pretty mystical, never seen anything like those I think.
That mist gives nice touch to the pic, making it not so usual landscape picture. It's nearly like a painting.
Also those reflections in water are pretty nice and you've gotten great colours to the picture.

I think I near had a digital orgasm when I saw this! That landscape encompasses a huge dynamic range, both technical and visual. Would you be so kind and allow me to add it to the D70ers gallery with proper credentials given to you? I would love that.

Cheers!

:faint: Uhmm for sure the most surreal capture I have Ever seen on dA. That Nikon D70 is a bad ass camera

Lovin how the horizon isnt quite balanced between sky vs landscape. The sky is Rockin in this shot.

Amazing quality in this shot. If you dont mind me asking, did u play with saturations, or layers in this shot?
Ionly ask because I cant imagine this shot to be so dang lush without at least minor adjustments.

So again, a perfectly surreal capture, expertly composed. Good Work

Of course the image has been tweaked a bit. I cropped it and adjusted the levels, saturation, and brightness/contrast.

this is one of my favorite from your gallery. it really gives me almost like an impressionist touch of the scape, everything is smoothly defined, and the colors really define the all photo. i have a few questions, that you will answer if you like:

did you use some kind of filter in your lens?
did you do some kind of saturation or contrast changes in photoshop?
many thanks =)

I am pretty sure that I was using a UV filter and a polarizing filter. I did do some level and contrast/brightness changes in PS.

Beautiful again. Looks to me thought that you adjusted the levels somewhat and I just get the sense that the colours are too hard - just to saturated and it distracts me somewhat from the view itself. I could be wrong in which case ignore me!

I was testing Fred Miranda's Velvia Vision program and I upped the saturation quite a bit. At first I thought it was a lot better, but I think it was a bit too much.

Simply fantastic, one of the best sky/water/landscape photos I've seen! The mirror is amazing and as if it wasn't enough there are all those scattered rain drop circles that add such depth to the water surface. The low light rays entering the valley are the most beautiful feature around wich the image develops its awesomeness. And the way the sky touches the mountain peaks and sticks to the snow covering is wonderful. My applause and :+fav: !
