I remember this place. Wish I had been into photography back when me and my family visited. That whole area of S. Utah is enthralling.
I like the warm and stark tones and how they set off the green of the moss and the white of the waterfall. I think the center-weighted composition is more than redeemed by the contrast, sharpness, and wild colors. Well photographed, and well processed. The one thing I might have done differently is hold back on the levels/curves in the white rock areas, as they begin to look unnaturally white and devoid of detail in areas. That being said... I love your southwest shots, man.
It was more of a slow jog than I hike . This was one of the last places I visited while I was traveling in the southwest. Suberb location, but I got there pre-sunrise/sunrise, which wasn't the best time for shooting.
